IT Training Room Hire

Acorn House IT Centre is located on the third floor of Acorn House in Central Milton Keynes. The room is fully equipped with 10 state-of-the-art computer workstations which are fully networked. A high speed broadband internet connection is available. The room is well lit and air conditioned to allow a pleasant and peaceful training environment. Acorn House has got full disabled access facilities. We can provide the following equipment in-house:

Computers:
Pentium 4, 3.0Gb with 256 RAM, 40Gb hard disk, 52x CD ROM, 32bit Graphics, Sound, 100Mb Ethernet connection, 102 key keyboard & 2 Button /wheel optical mouse.

Monitors:
15" TFT Screens.

LCD Projector.
High power 'daylight' projector to display the Instructor or Server PC.

OHP Projector.
For projecting transparencies on the wall.

Broadband Internet connection.
Allows all PC's to independently access the Internet simultaneously.

Network.
10/100Mb 16 port hub. Cat5 wiring.

Standard set up includes.

10 Delegate PC's.
1 Instructor Notebook Computer.
Variety of printers.
100mb local network to room with guest connection (RJ45).
Large white board and markers
Flip chart
Software. Windows XP Pro & Office2000/2003 Professional, Internet Explorer 7 &
Outlook for E-mailing

Prices

The IT Training Room can be hired by individuals or organisations for their private use. The rates of hire are as follows:
Rates for Room with 10 PCs:

Half Day (8.30am to 12.30noon)

£150

Half Day (1pm to 5pm)

£150

Full Day (8.30am to 5pm)

£250

Weekly (Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm)

£1125

Note: Organisations and individuals from the Voluntary and Community Sector would get a discount on the quoted prices. Please contact us to confirm the discount applicable.

All prices are exclusive of VAT.

If you require hiring outside of the hours specified, please contact us as this would require some special arrangements to be made.

Other Services

Lunch with teas/coffees (at nearby restaurant).......... £12 per delegate

Buffet lunch with teas/coffees (in training room)........ £7 per delegate

A variety of menus would be made available at time of booking to suit individual dietary needs.
